The Sweet Couple
Jess and Gabby both live in Los Angeles and came to hang with us at Joshua Tree National Park for the most fun couples session. Joshua Tree is obviously one of my favorite places to shoot (as you can tell by all the Joshua Tree work I’ve got on my website). And it has some of THE best Airbnb’s around – talk about all the modern bohemian, desert-y, neutral-colored inspiration. So we decided to combine the JT sun + the boho Airbnb’s for a super funky, retro-vibe couples session.
These two have such a fiery connection and have been together for almost three years – even though they look like they’ve been together forever. They told us about how they knew each other was the one right away because of their amazing connection and attraction, and I am soooo honored we got to witness it for this shoot!
There was one part during it where we honestly got emotional when shooting, because of how much Jess & Gabby really got into it and shared their love for each other while we just captured those moments. It was amazing to be able to photograph the emotions between them.
Couples Boudoir Inspiration
With Jess & Gabby, we started outside in the sun and moved to the Airbnb’s outdoor hot tub. We created the most retro, funky vibes with these two using vintage Playboy magazines, sunglasses, bandanas, retro swimsuits, and more fun accessories. It was a blast capturing these two in such a fun element that made it feel like we were shooting for a 1950’s magazine.
Then we went inside the house for some intimate couples boudoir photos, which were hot & steamy – these two brought the fire right away! Couples’ boudoir photos are such a fun way to capture special, intimate memories of you and your partner.
The Joshua Tree Airbnb
If you’re in need of a mini-vacay + some alone time with your partner, pro tip: escape for a weekend to Joshua Tree! Then hire a photographer to capture intimate moments of the two of you relaxing and enjoying your time together.
