They got married in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona. And, can I just say, their wedding was a dream to capture and celebrate!
The Boojum Tree offers indoor & outdoor space with a variety of stunning backdrops everywhere you turn. This is any couple’s and photographer’s dream paradise for wedding photos. This wedding venue is a hidden oasis that you don’t want to overlook! It is one of the only greenhouses in Arizona for weddings.
Just take a look at their wedding reception area… Need I say more?!

How Christine and Jessica Met
Christine and Jessica met the summer between their freshman and sophomore year of college through a mutual friend that Christine had known since middle school. We have to thank our friends sometimes for unintentionally being great matchmakers!
After months of hanging out and getting to know each other, they became close friends, then fell for one another, and started dating.
And the rest, folks, is history!
They have been together since 2013, got engaged in 2020, and now are going on 9 years of partnership! Over the years they have lived together with their friends in a variety of houses and places across the Phoenix Metropolitan area. But as of 2020, Christine and Jessica have settled in their own house in Tempe with two quirky dogs and one mischievous cat.

Highlighting Their Engagement
Picture it, you met your partner one summer in college and are still head over heels for this person 7+ years later! That’s the magic here.
So here comes Jessica’s birthday on July 8th and she only wants one thing. Jessica proposed to Christine on her own birthday! Spoiler Alert: she said YES!!!
After a nice dinner, Jessica asked to go to the rooftop of the Clarendon Hotel and asked Christine to marry her beneath the night sky with a sentimental speech. Now that is how you propose!
Ten days later, Christine invited Jessica to go on a drive to the Arizona State University campus and walk around together. When they got to the Secret Garden, Christine asked Jessica to (also) marry her!! Jessica said, “OF COURSE!”
It’s no surprise that these are two of the most incredible humans!
Christine and Jessica’s Boojum Tree Hidden Gardens Wedding Day
We arrived at the venue and felt the breathtaking beauty with its Moroccan-style archways and huge indoor greenhouse.
In selecting a venue for their day, Christine and Jessica preferred a natural plant backdrop. They loved that the Boojum Tree had a lot of greenery and that was their favorite part. The venue fits up to 200 guests with indoor and outdoor event space. There is truly nothing like this venue in the Phoenix area that offers a greenhouse-style event space.
After getting ready, Christine and Jessica wanted to do their first look and exchange vows privately before the ceremony somewhere at the Boojum Tree Hidden Gardens. Being able to capture their special moment together was so heartwarming!!
Christine wore a gorgeous green suit and Jessica wore a stunning dress! They said their “I do’s” and had an epic night dancing with all their people. It was amazing being a part of their day in capturing the next chapter in their journey!
