If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s bold, colorful, and completely full of life, then you’re going to love Jess and Cam’s vibrant wedding reception at one of the newest and most stylish venues in Downtown Phoenix—Coronado House.

This celebration was modern, playful, and packed with personality, giving us a sneak peek into the hottest 2025 wedding trends while keeping everything heartfelt and fun.

Coronado House: A New Wedding Venue in Downtown Phoenix

Coronado House is a newly renovated 100-year-old historic home turned wedding venue that brings old-world charm together with sleek, modern style. It’s the kind of space that’s intimate enough for a small guest list, but stylish enough to make a major visual impact.

For Jess and Cam, it was the perfect spot to throw an epic reception after their ceremony.

Talk about bringing together your closest friends and family in a space that feels just like you: modern, relaxed, and full of color.

Jess & Cam: A Celebration Full of Heart and Style

Jess and Cam are the kind of couple you can’t help but smile around. They’re fun-loving, laid back, and not afraid to break a few wedding rules (in the best way possible). From their fashion choices to their colorful decor, they made sure every detail reflected their energy and unique personalities.

Their wedding was all about doing things their way—a reception that felt like a party, a color palette that made the whole space glow, and moments that were as candid as they were beautiful.

Jess and Cam’s wedding was basically a blueprint for all the trends we’re loving in 2025 weddings:

Bold, Vibrant Color Palettes

Think warm oranges, yellows, and pinks layered into their florals, table settings, and even the fruit on the tables (hello grapefruits and grapes as decor—yes please!).

Film Photography

The warmth and nostalgic grain of 35mm film added a dreamy, timeless layer to their wedding gallery.

Aerial Photography & Drone Shots

We popped up the drone for a few killer overhead shots of the rehearsal table setup and the entire venue. It gave their gallery some extra dimension.

Messy Table Shots

Because perfection is overrated. The real beauty came in the after-party moments—plates half-eaten, candles melting down, guests mid-laugh.

Dutch Angles & Blurry Photos

We added in some unconventional angles and soft-focus moments to bring a little bit of that editorial-meets-art-school energy to their collection.

Half-Up Bridal Hair

Jess rocked a half-up, half-down bridal look that was sleek, timeless, and perfect for adding a fun veil.

Candid, In-Between Moments

These two weren’t afraid to be real in front of the camera. Their gallery is full of cheeky smiles, mid-dance moves, and cozy post-toast hugs. The best kind of photos.

Signature Cocktails & Retro Details

What’s a party without a few custom drinks? Jess and Cam nailed the signature cocktail game with two custom creations:

Desert Mirage – Tequila, prickly pear syrup, fresh lime juice, agave, bitters, club soda, and a tajín rim.
Palm Springs Paloma – Tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, agave, grapefruit soda, and a salt rim.

From the retro getaway car provided by @jenzbenzaz to lime green pointed bridal heels and custom letterpress invitations with vintage stamps, every detail had thought and flair. They turned their reception into an expression of who they are, and it couldn’t have been more fun to capture.

A Modern, Playful, Retro-Inspired Aesthetic

This wedding’s overall aesthetic?
Bold and playful with a hint of retro rebellion.

The clear acrylic chairs, vibrant florals from @arraydesignaz, and stylish signage by @asterandpalm gave it all a polished and modern finish, while the vintage car and black-and-white portraits pulled everything together with timeless charm.

There was: color, attitude, love.

Jess and Cam’s wedding is proof that you can throw tradition out the window and still have a celebration that feels deeply meaningful and beautifully you.

This vibrant wedding at Coronado House was everything I love about photographing modern weddings: expressive, fun, full of life, and unapologetically authentic. Jess and Cam’s celebration proves that you don’t have to follow tradition to make your wedding day meaningful. You just have to make it your own.
