Jessica and Christine’s LGBTQ Downtown Phoenix Engagement Session at the Phoenix Art Museum and throughout the city.
The thing that I love most about being an Arizona Photographer is that I am about to capture extreme beauty within one of the more locationally diverse states. Not only does Phoenix have cactus and desert landscapes, but it also has a unique downtown area. Downtown is just as cool to shoot at compared to the desert landscapes.
I don’t get to shoot downtown much. So, I was stoked to follow along with Jessica and Christine. Together, we took the city by storm as they showed it to me through their eyes.

Location Hopping During this LGBTQ Downtown Phoenix Engagement Session
The locations we shot at a few locations around downtown Phoenix. We began at the Phoenix Art Museum. Quickly after, we followed it up with the rainbow-colored crosswalk. By the end of this Downtown Phoenix Engagement Session, we were on the rooftop of The Clarendon Hotel.
For them, it was important to capture their love in the area where they first met and fell in love. It was so much fun hanging out with this two downtown! I love being able to see the passion and the love with each couple while we get to spend a little date night revisiting all their favorite places together.
These two were the cutest and they were so comfortable in front of the camera. They both were smiling so hard during the ENTIRE session!
Experiencing Downtown Phoenix’s Rainbow Crosswalk
The rainbow-colored crosswalk was one of my favorite places these gals showed me downtown. This crosswalk is funded by local LGBT nonprofits. It celebrates the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community on Seventh and Glenrosa avenues in Phoenix. The rainbow crosswalk is located directly at 7th Ave and Glenrosa cross-street in Downtown Phoenix.
This was such a special place for the gals to shoot at. I loved incorporating a little part of who they are into their engagement session.

I am counting down the days until this winter wedding in Phoenix. Winter weddings are truly my favorite here in Arizona because the weather is always MAGICAL!
Jessica and Christine are getting married at “The Boojum Tree Hidden Gardens” wedding event space in downtown Phoenix this winter. It really is a unique and exotic wedding venue with amazing architecture, sculptures, gardens, tropical plants, and more! It is a hidden gem tropical oasis located right in the heart of downtown Phoenix. Follow along to see more of their wedding day at this beautiful wedding venue!
