Jared and Kristina’s Downtown Phoenix Intimate Wedding at the Ice House was a perfect example of how you don’t have to have the traditional Arizona desert landscape as your venue. Downtown Phoenix is so much more than cacti, and I can’t wait to share this industrial alternative with you!

A DOWNTOWN PHOENIX INTIMATE WEDDING FOR AN INTIMATE COUPLE
Because Jared and Kristina have never loved the attention being on themselves, they opted for the intimate wedding route. They wanted their day to be simple with a little bit of party. I have to say that I don’t think there is a better way to celebrate a couple than with a party!
They are such an easy-going couple, and honestly one of my favorites that I have been able to work with! Not only are they some of the sweetest people, but they allowed me to let me creativity shine while shooting a lot in super 8 video film. It was so exciting!
THE RINGS
A fun little fact about Jared, HE ACTUALLY WORKS AT JARED’S.
They designed their own rings exactly how they wanted them. Kristina was very adamant that she didn’t want a blood diamond so Jared made sure to get a chemically grown diamond that had just the shine and sparkle.

THE INTIMATE WEDDING VENUE IN DOWNTOWN PHOENIX
The Ice House venue is located smack dab in the heart of downtown Phoenix, Arizona. It has the perfect mix of modern vibes and industrial architecture!
This venue has a ceremony room that is an open-aired space that has no roof! It opens up to the sky and is surrounded by all brick. In the middle of this room, there is a huge crystal chandelier that hangs to give it the biggest fairytale aspect.
Off of this room are two rooms. Here, couples usually hold their cocktail hour and receptions among the brick and art sculpture accents.
THE FLORALS
Kristina’s favorite color is yellow, and it made this downtown intimate wedding truly pop! The color palette was all bright colors that included yellows, oranges, reds, green, and purple.
Array Design was the florist and did the best job of matching the rustic building.
THE PARTY
DJ Trego sure knew how to throw one heck of a party for the guests. They danced all night, and took a ton of tequila shots with their friends.
Abbie Cakes Co-designed a gorgeous two-tiered wedding cake with pressed wildflowers. She incorporated the couple’s color palette. Honestly, I have never seen pressed wildflowers on a cake… However, I have decided that it needs to become a trend because it was so beautiful. I am pretty sure that everyone was drooling over it.
After slipping on her cute, white heart sunglasses, Kristina had an outfit change into a boho short mini dress to dance the night away.
