PHOTO LOCATIONS IN ARIZONA’S DESERT
Arizona is one of the few states that has a unique red rock glow amongst its desert vibes! It never ceases to give off a wow factor that the second you see it, you will continue to keep coming back for more!

TOP 6 PHOTO SESSION SPOTS IN ARIZONA
#1: Saguaro National Park
Saguaro National Park is located right in Tucson and is only about an hour and a half trip from Pheonix. Since it is one of the few Parks located in a major city, it is really accessible. There are two sides of the park: East and west that you can go hike and drive around.
The park has cactus everywhere with an incredible mountain backdrop that leaves you with creamy beige tones with green hues scattered throughout.
#2: Superstition Mountains
The Superstition Mountains are about 50 miles outside of the Phoenix area.
The landscape almost looks like you are in Sedona but with more neutral, green tones. It is one of the biggest rock formations in the valley and among the most popular places to see in the Phoenix area.
There are tons of hikes in the area to explore and feels just far enough away from town to give you the more intimate wedding vibe.
#3: Sedona
WHO ELSE IS OBSESSED WITH THE MAJESTIC RED ROCK BEAUTY?
Sedona has a sacred place in my heart. I love being able to share this beautiful destination with others and hiking the vortex hikes! It definitely has that “Wow Factor” when you visit!
Sedona is located 2 hours north of Phoenix and is known for the beautiful red rocks formations surrounded by a unique town up in the hills. Although there are plenty of red and orange hues, you can find hits of green where ever you go.
#4: Bartlett Lake
Check out this lake tucked away in the desert not far from Phoenix — Bartlett Lake! If you are looking for a location that is a little more private, Bartlett Lake is perfect for you!
It is a smaller lake hidden about 18 miles northeast of Cave Creek, Arizona.
#5: Horseshoe Bend
Looking for epic views with the beautiful red rocks?
Horseshoe Bend is the perfect destination to capture the breathtaking sacred land of northern Arizona! There are multiple locations just in the area that you can travel to get the iconic breathtaking red rock views!
#6: Slot Canyons
The slot canyons are narrow gorges in the soft red rocks that are all over northern Arizona/Southern Utah. The canyons start in various locations over Page, Arizona. You can pay to get in the popular slot canyons or go hiking/kayaking and explore the canyons on your own.
Since they were formed by years of water rushing through the canyons, you are able to look up through big canyons.
